Sabena technics also operates abroad
Sabena technics performs maintenance on aircraft made available to its governmental clients, both in France and abroad, while taking into account their operational constraints and specific requirements. The first H160 is maintained by Sabena technics at the governmental aeronautical center of Le Lamentin in Martinique, making it the first maintenance facility to carry out major inspection work outside mainland France.

Highly skilled technicians
Two highly qualified Sabena technics technicians are permanently based on site: B1 technicians specialized in mechanics, and B2 technicians with expertise in avionics and electronics. These versatile teams are sized to handle all maintenance operations required for optimal aircraft performance and can also provide knowledge transfer to partner clients.

From H145 to H160…
Sabena technics operates a large fleet available to its clients, ranging from the H145 to the H160, including Dauphin N3 aircraft, for operational missions such as law enforcement, search and rescue, and surveillance.
Each aircraft configuration is specifically designed to meet mission requirements, integrating dedicated equipment and a cabin layout that ensures optimal working comfort for the crews.

The helicopters carry out three main missions for governmental authorities:
Maritime surveillance of French territorial waters in the Caribbean

Search and rescue missions in hazardous areas

The French Civil Protection Agency operates year-round across domestic territories and international zones, with heightened aerial firefighting deployments during summer months. We maintains full airworthiness certification for the agency’s specialized fleet, comprising 12 Canadair CL-415s, 8 Dash 8 Q400s, and 3 Beech 200s.
