    ENGINE AIRWORTHINESS SPECIALIST H/F

    Description du poste

    Within the Airworthiness & Technical Services Division (40 technical specialists) located in Blagnac and dedicated to airworthiness expertise, support to brand new aircraft delivery and borescope inspections, we are looking for our Engine Airworthiness Specialist M/F.µ

    Your main missions will be :

    • to ensure the airworthiness of the engines / APU
    • to secure the engines / APU transitions and returns to service in accordance with the regulatory and contractual requirements.


    Your key objectives :

    • To collect and expertise engines / APU records (for ATR, Airbus, Boeing,… aircraft) within the frame of 2nd hand aircraft transitions, establish the continuing airworthiness and maintenance technical history in order to validate the engine airworthiness and compliance to lease contract.
    • To manage the Discrepancy Item List closure process and support Customer for commitment letter writing.
    • To initiate statuses in the MIS data base for the entry into the CAMO.
    • To support as the Airline’s representative, the preparation of statuses within the frame of a redelivery to Lessor.
    • To ensure the airworthiness of the engines / APU through the standard CAMO tasks (AD/SB analysis, Maintenance Schedule & Kardex follow up, workscope built-up and launching, MRO maintenance workpackage follow-up and analysis, oil consumption and trend monitoring analysis, update of engines / APU status, part robbery management, reporting,…) during the CAMO follow-up period and for the Airworthiness Reviews (ARC renewal, initial certification, flight permit,…).
    • To update and organize records for the delivery in accordance with the requirements of the redelivery conditions.
    • To support the engine / APU’s records presentation during delivery acceptance phase and Airworthiness Review.
    • To follow final Customer engine / APU’s records discrepancies and manage the closure process.
    • To perform technical audits (on site shop visit follow-up, remaining Green Time analysis, Pre-Purchase inspection,…) and issue associated report.

    Profil recherché

    Level Required (Training/Experience):

    BAC +3 to Bac + 5 in Aeronautical Engineering, with at least 2 years of professional experience in continuing airworthiness and/or maintenance engines activities in Airline and / or MRO. 

    Have experience in the engine transaction processes, shop visits, CAMO activities.

    Required skills:

    • Technical and operational skills:
    • Knowledge of the applicable airworthiness regulations (Part CAMO),
    • Knowledge of the CFM, Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney engines,
    • Knowledge of the engine records and contents,
    • Knowledge of ESM documentation,
    • Knowledge of OEM portals (Airbus World / MyBoeing Fleet ),
    • Knowledge of ADsoftware Maintenance Information System would be an asset,
    • Fluent speaking, reading & writing English language.
