SABENA TECHNICS BGC is hiring a Senior Cabin Modification Engineer - Boeing Commercial Aircraft Sabena Technics BGC (Toulouse, Dubai, Montreal) :
With its DOA and POA Part21 J/G approvals, the division is responsible for engineering & certification activities, monitoring and management of equipment manufacturers & suppliers, but also integration of the modification and airworthiness monitoring.
Missions & Responsabilités
Within the Cabin Modification Department, you will work on multiple projects for airlines, lessors or aircraft manufacturers :
- Analysis of aircraft systems/equipment (initial aircraft configuration VS final configuration)
- Writing of service bulletins and task cards
- Design of Cabin/Seat layout, PSIU layout, Emergency Equipment layout, Carpet layout and associated parts list
- Monitoring the development of Equipment and Cabin Monuments: writing of specifications, involvment in development reviews (ITCM, PDR, CDR, FAI) with equipment manufacturers
- Aircraft inspections, on-site support during Working Party at MRO facilities and monitoring of tests at the end of aircraft modification
You will be integrated in a transnational team (Toulouse, Dubai, Montreal) made up of people from several nationalities and you will be required to travel to MRO facilities all around the world when needed.
Profil recherché
Required profile:
- Trained as an Engineer or Senior Technician with solid experience, you have initial experience in aircraft modifications, aircraft maintenance or manufacturing (DOA design office, airline design office, MRO, Aeronautical equipment manufacturer, Completion Center Airbus, Boeing, ATR, Embraer, Bombardier, etc.) on all types of commercial aircraft and a good knowledge of especially Boeing aircraft cabins is requested
- You shall have skills on ATA 11-21-25-33-35-38-53... (Technical and functional)
- Your knowledge of aircraft cabin layout (Cabin/Seat, PSIU, Emergency Equipment, Carpet), aircraft documentation (AMM, IPC, SRM, Engineering Drawings, My Boeing Fleet, Airbus World...), 2D CAD tools: Autocad (software used on a daily basis), 3D CAD: CATIA would be welcome but not essential
- Your knowledge of IFE (In Flight Entertainment) systems would be welcome
- Your knowledge of EASA and/or FAA regulation CS25 would be welcome
- Your experience in project coordination and/or project manager or at least your interest in improving your skills in these aspects would be welcome
- Fluent English is required for all of our employees
- Very good team spirit and curiosity is mandatory
Job Location :
- Toulouse, Dubai or Montreal with partial remote working possible if desired (2 to 3 days max per week)
